There’s nothing wrong with having backup plans (though personally I find them to be a little boring and safe). So you say, what does this have to do with me and my home based business? They’re pretty much the same. Along the road to success you’re going to have lots of people tell you that you need a backup plan.

“You know these things don’t always work for everyone” “What are you going to do if this thing doesn’t work out?” etc. If you haven’t heard something like this before, you will.

However, while it might make good sense to have a backup plan in, about 99.9% of all cases, people who have a backup plan for their home based business is going to fail.

Let me put it this way. If you think you’re going to get laid off from your job in the next year or so and you join a home based business, the home based business is your backup plan. But what people tend to do is get ANOTHER backup plan. “Well, if this business doesn’t work out, I can always go work with my uncle Frank at the family business”.

If you have a backup plan for your backup plan, you are NEVER going to be successful in your home based business. Because as you’re working your home based business, it’s going to get rough at times and those people who have all sorts of other options are going to give up before they can ever really see any real success.

Do yourself and your business a favor and stop with the backup plans! Make the choice to become successful working from home, don’t give yourself and easy out. Stick it out and you WILL become successful in your home based business.

Actually I want to say thank you for taking interest on me. So I want you to write what are the best motivators in home based business.

If you’re in a home based business and you have children, you are at a huge advantage to everyone else, who doesn’t have children. Seriously. When it comes to finding success in a home based business, children are truly the best motivator.

Obviously just the mere fact that you are a mother or father doesn’t mean you are guaranteed to any type of success. You’re still going to have to work for it. There is no magic potion that makes building a home based business easier when you have kids. However, if you are trying to build a business there is no motivator in the world that could ever be better than trying to provide a better life for your family.

Why am I telling you this? Because if you’re a parent and you’re thinking about joining a home based business, you need to know the powerful advantage that you have. While money, cars and nice homes are enough to motivate many people, there is nothing like the motivation to spend more time with your son or daughter. The motivation to give them a better life than you had, send them to a better school or take them on better vacations.

Your children are only going to be children for so long. So don’t spend half their childhood (or all of it) at work. A home based business will allow you to give your kids everything in the world they could possibly want and best of all, it will allow you to give them the thing that every child wants the most… time with you.

At the end of the day, when your children are grown, they won’t remember that Christmas when you gave them that toy they wanted. They’ll remember spending time with you.

Your children are worth it, aren’t they? Give them the best gift of all… you! And along the way your home based business will allow you to give them all that other stuff as well. Children are truly the best motivator of all!
